How to Unblock Your Startup Without Losing Momentum
You’ve got users, or an MVP, or maybe even a team… but things aren’t moving like they used to.
You feel stuck.
This is more common than you think, and it doesn’t mean your idea is wrong. Sometimes, what you need is a reset.
Common reasons founders get stuck:
- Too many features, not enough focus
- Technical debt or unclear codebase
- Lack of clarity on next priorities
- No structured delivery process
- Lack of founder support or burnout
Here’s what helps:
- Bring in fresh technical leadership (Fractional CTO).
- Revisit your user feedback – are you building what they need?
- Cut back to the core product.
- Focus on 1 or 2 outcomes for the next 30–60 days.
We’ve stepped into several projects mid-way at SixBerries and helped get teams unstuck by simplifying scope, cleaning up delivery, and giving founders room to breathe.
Getting stuck is part of the process. Getting out is about asking for the right kind of help.
