We started this business because we felt the struggles of the postnatal period ourselves. With Lotus Mother, we want to offer families holistic postnatal support based on the principles of the Chinese postnatal confinement method. The postnatal support in the UK is very much focused on the baby. Mothers are often left feeling alone, unheard and unsupported leading to postnatal depression and other physical and mental issues.
